Ericom Shield can be deployed in a variety of ways, according to the exact customer requirements.

Possible deployments:

• All components (Management, Core and Browser Farm) are installed on-premise
• Management & core components installed on-premise and Browser Farm installed in Dynamic Nodes (e.g. Cloud)

How To Address Additional Issues In the Dynamic Nodes Farm Deployment

When using the Dynamic Nodes Farm, certain issues may occur that require attention. Please find below recommendations for addressing these possible issues:

• Validating client IP - Certain websites (e.g. Salesforce) validate the client IP and allow connection based on this validation. Since in this scenario, the client IP is received by the cloud provider - it must be added to the website’s allowed IPs list.
• Internal websites cannot be accessed - There is no connection between internal sites and the Cloud. To enable accessing internal sites in this scenario - exclude internal sites in the PAC file or whitelist them in the policies table.
